County Workforce Coordinators

If you have either been appointed as, or are considering a role as a County Workforce Coordinator we hope this website and Information Pack will provide you with the information and knowledge you need to be able to fulfil the role successfully.

The County Workforce Coordinator is an important role in helping to recruit, train, support and encourage volunteers in your local area through the network of clubs and Club Workforce Coordinators.

As County Workforce Coordinator you will be assisting clubs in ensuring that new volunteers are encouraged to get involved, are given a warm welcome and stay involved. You will also be supporting clubs in recognising the value of both existing and new volunteers. This could be achieved through the use of network meetings (where the Club Woorkforce Coordinators in your area can come together), informal training sessions using the Good Club Guide for a Workforce Coordinator, by providing information and general assistance to the Club Workforce Coordinators and organising your County Aquaforce Volunteer Award programme.

The Information Pack below is designed to help County Workforce Coordinators understand their role and to be an easy-to-use reference guide. There are activities and Top Tips that will prompt ideas and questions that will aid discussions about the role within County Associations. The intention of this resource is to provide guidance so that people can choose what they want to prioritise within their County for this role.
