School Speed Awards

The School Speed awards cover all four strokes and are graded by Bronze, Silver and Gold categories. They give primary school children an opportunity to compete against the clock with achievable target times set within their capabilities.

The qualification table allows for different length pools. Strokes, starts, turns and finishes should be in accordance with ASA laws.

Please note: Teachers and swimmers should be aware of the dangers of diving into shallow water. The Competitive Start Awards provide additional advice and guidance. For more information, please refer to the Teacher's Toolkit.
